Hey there! I'm Kristin Forrette. I was born and raised in the Willamette Valley. I grew up camping, hiking and fishing all over the gorgeous, lush landscape of the Pacific Northwest. I’ve had a love for nature and floral design for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I decided to make my passion and dreams of becoming a floral designer happen. Through classes, collaborating and networking with other local florists, photographers and creatives, I have learned new techniques and skills needed to create my own personal style. I pride myself on creating one of a kind arrangements and installments with unique color pallets by foraging and sourcing with local flower growers.
Olive & Avens. I have always loved olive trees along with its rich history. It is a symbol of peace, wisdom, hope, health, fertility & wealth. In 2015 I started incorporating an olive branch into the floral décor at all events and weddings, even if hidden within a bouquet or arbor foliage. Mountain Avens are beautiful eight petaled flowers that grow among the rocks in the pacific northwest and beyond. When I am not creating with flowers, you will find me hanging out with my family. I have six crazy kids and one hilarious husband of 15 years. I chose the Aven flower because it has eight petals that represent each one of us.
